It's true that this does sound different than other industrial songs in the NG portal, and definitely different from the industrial songs on my iPod. But different is not necessarily a bad thing. In your case, you proved that a different spin on the industrial genre is very good.
This song, I think, proves that industrial songs don't necessarily have to be hard or heavy, or blow your eardrums out the other side of your head. And I do agree with the reviewer below me. This does sound like great random battle music for an RPG. I can picture this track being used in a desert, but I can also picture it in sci-fi RPGs when you get in random battles inside a starship or something.
Great work. Keep it up!

I listen to this, and I picture it being used as the opening theme for a video game of some sort...maybe an RPG or adventure, something like in Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne, or something like that.
Totally epic. Catchy guitars and percussion all throughout. I can't find any flaws to mention. Keep up the fantastic work! This gets my 10, my 5, and a spot on my iPod for sure.

I'll be first to review. I really enjoy this piece. Starts off slow, but then comes in with a huge kick, and becomes fast and hard. It's awesome how you managed to pull off the tempo buildup.
But that's not the only thing that I found enjoyable about this piece. Also, to me, nothing sounded repetitive or overused. Each part sounded at least slightly different than the next. This makes it highly interesting and catching all throughout.
All in all, you did great work here. This is definitely getting my five and ten. Keep up the great work!

I kid you not, this is my absolute favorite loop on Newgrounds. There is just something about it that hooks you and draws you in, making you want to listen to it over and over again. I first heard this on the Prison of Industry game. I have to say, it really fits the mood of the game.
You did a great job with this loop. And I have to say that I can definitely agree with Rexxov. I do like the loop, but I would also love to hear what it's like as a full song. Keep up the great work!

Not having played Killer Instinct before, I can't really compare this remix to the original mix used in the game.
However, I can see how this one was fun to make. Extremely catchy. I'm having a blast just listening to it. Keep up the great work!

I haven't personally played a whole lot of Killer Instinct but I'll never forget the first time I heard the main theme. I wanted to remix this song since I first started messing around with FL Studio which has been about 2-3 years now. Thanks for your review and that awesome 10/10 you gave me!! Freakin' Awesome!!

I can definitely agree with the previous two reviewers. On everything.
However, apart from war games, this would also be appropriate for some styles of horror games, in my opinion. If you need proof of this, listen to the Raccoon City theme from the Resident Evil 2 soundtrack. With the exception that there is more percussion in the Raccoon City theme, I actually think that the two songs are slightly similar.
But getting back to your work, it definitely works out. I agree that it easily has a tainted sound to it. It can easily be placed into a dark battle or hopeless battle scene. Great work. Keep it up!

"You just gave me one of the scariest visions ever"
I am referring to, of course, a Resident Evil game in which the only zombies you find are Hyper Zombies (the ones that run insanely fast at you).
Fast-paced, upbeat, catchy, and hooking. This song has it all.
Now, if only I could push those Hyper Zombies out of my mind. Ha ha.
Keep up the great work!

I am Musashi Miyamoto. Feared by all, defeated by none. Traveling the lands of Japan, I seek a worthy opponent. My journey will not end until I can find a master swordsman who is worthy of my time.
...ok, not really. I'm actually just a humble reviewer. But seriously, by the above daydream and the big number 10, you can tell what I think of this song.
Keep up the great work!

Alright, I guess I'll be the first to comment.
It certainly is an interesting concept for a boss theme. My guess is, if you did find this in any of the Castlevania games, it would have to be in either Portrait of Ruin or Dawn of Sorrow (both of which were great games). However, I do have one suggestion. There are several points throughout the song in which you just let the strings and choir take over for a few seconds (points like from 0:41 to 0:46). I think those areas, with the exception of the beginning (because the intro is awesome), could be either shortened or dropped without much impact on the song as a whole, and it leaves more time for the louder portions to play. That, I think, would make it better.
But I do enjoy listening to this one. It's quite interesting for a boss theme. Keep up the good work.

Wanna know what I pictured when I listened to this song? Here it is...
The hero arrives at Dracula's castle, more resolved than ever before to fight. S/he has just suffered a devastating loss that they can't seem to overcome. When the song begins (the slower more peaceful part), they look to the sky and shut their eyes, thinking of the person close to them who was killed by Dracula, the Prince of Darkness. When the song kicks in at a faster tempo, the hero charges forward into the castle, ready to lay their life on the line, and ready for revenge. Each time the song slows down, or becomes slightly less heavy, the hero remembers the person they lost again, and it only makes him/her stronger in their will to fight.
It really got my imagination going. This song is a masterpiece.
